About Permission Zero

Permission Zero.
Authority for the autonomous internet.

Permission Zero is a Georgia-based AI infrastructure and intelligence company developing technology for an internet increasingly operated by humans, software agents and autonomous systems.

What we are building

Permission Zero is developing a human-rooted authority and defense layer for the autonomous internet. The objective is to let digital services establish that a legitimate human or organization sits behind an action, identify the autonomous agent acting on that authority, define exactly what the agent is permitted to do, evaluate meaningful actions at decision time, and detect coordinated machine-scale abuse across accounts and endpoints.

The architecture is organized around five connected responsibilities: Human Proof, Agent Identity, Delegated Authority, Action-Time Policy and Swarm Defense. These layers are designed to keep intelligence separate from authority: an AI agent may be highly capable, but its ability to act should still remain explicit, scoped, time-bound and revocable.

How we are approaching it

The current Genesis phase focuses on research, specifications, controlled simulations, community participation and Swarm League experimentation. Rather than treating identity as permanent trust, Permission Zero studies how applications can combine minimum-disclosure proof, agent credentials, delegated scope, behavioral signals, rate, intent and context before deciding whether to allow, challenge, limit or block an action.

Our work is intended for environments such as AI applications, developer platforms, commerce, financial systems, social platforms and scarce-access systems where autonomous execution can create both new capability and new forms of abuse.

Future direction

The roadmap progresses from research and community building toward prototype and testnet work, independent technical validation and a final decision on broader network deployment. Permission Zero is also exploring a community-first PZRO economic layer targeted for 2027, with the present design proposing a fixed supply, no public presale and a substantial public/community ecosystem allocation.

Those future plans are forward-looking rather than permanent commitments. Architecture, timing, network economics and launch mechanics may change as a result of legal, regulatory, technical, security, operational or community considerations. The technology and evidence come first; future network economics are intended to follow only if the project reaches the required level of readiness.
